Article on safety and security during the elections.

For any of you who are concerned about reports in the media about the situation in Rwanda, here is a news article for you to ponder over.

Thank goodness that someone is saying that they are stepping up for security.  Apparently being a Commonwealth citizen counts for nothing with the British anymore.  Asking to register my presence in Rwanda with the British in the absence of a New Zealand embassy I was told that the Rwandan Government is now in charge of me being that they are a Commonwealth country.  This to me is flawed logic to me...get the Government of the country you may be trying to get of to assist you. What the?  Apparently it is good enough for me to have the same Queen as Britain, to pay to study there and to sink my money into their economy with rent, groceries and the like for 18 months, but protection and assistance whilst abroad....FORGET ABOUT IT!
